A space for collaborators to share their work, learn more about community needs, and gain access to additional project work. As the collaborative continues to grow, more projects will be displayed, in addition to ongoing faculty collaborations.

Director/producer Shalini Kantayya led a virtual conversation on findings in her film, 5 May 2020

During WPI’s 2021 Spring Science Week, Shalini Kantayya shares her film’s findings with the WPI community. AI has become a tool to identify speech patterns, facial features, sort through keywords, and many other uses. However, biases have also been coded into intelligences, which tend to favor those who developed them and many are white men. This further harms marginalized groups and individuals.
